We believe that parents are the most important educators in a child’s life.
With this in mind, we strongly encourage parents to contribute to our kindergarten in any way they feel comfortable. We love when parents come and spend time in the kindergarten setting – sharing their skills, lending a hand or by playing and learning with our children.
Parents can help us in a wide range of ways. Some of these include:
- Sharing skills with children (i.e cooking, instruments, sports, sharing occupational experiences)
- Governing Council
- End of day clean up
- End of term/year clean up
- Working Bees
- Washing laundry items
- Donating goods
- Supporting fundraising events
- Gardening
- Performing odd jobs
- Sharing our Nature Connect journey through volunteering at sessions
- Attending excursions with us
